Updates to Living in Rawality!

Following are a few updates to the recipe book we all know and love! Watch for the second version coming spring 2026 with dozens of new recipes!Β 

Just a few tips for some of our 700+ recipes!

  • 35 – Jolly Ol Pumpkin Bars – add 1 tea. baking soda and a splash of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 41 – Brownie – bake for 45 minutes or until done
  • 52 – Pecan Fingers – add 3 eggs, 1 Β½ cup almond flour
  • 39 – Chocolate Bark – 1 cup raw cacao butter and if you want to add peanut butter add ΒΎ cup!
  • 62 – Easy CafΓ© Chocolate Mousse – change to ΒΎ cup maple syrup or honey and ΒΎ cup water
  • 100 - Bed and Breakfast Oatmeal Bake – add less sugar, it’s too sweet!
  • 100 – Morning Moist Oatmeal Bake – I like adding 1 cup blueberries, 2/3 cup pecans ad 2-3 TB coconut sugar!
  • 106 – Gone in a minute stollen – add an additional Β½ cup water, 1 egg and Β½ Baking spice to step 2
  • 127 – 7 Layer Salad – under dish preparation the guacamole recipe is on page 56, not 144
  • 148 – Garbanzo Bean Hummus – add ΒΎ - 1 cup water
  • 156 – Cucumber Cream Cheese – I add 1 to 1 1.2 tea. seasoned salt and 1-2 TB of potato flour OR 2-3 TB or chia seeds blended into four to thicken if needed
  • 194 – Kids Fav Mac and Cheese – change to ΒΌ cup water and ΒΌ tea salt
  • 195 – Simple Sausage – change salt to 1 tea. NOT 1 TB!
  • 198 – Totally Awesome Pizza Crust – you can use 3 eggs instead of the 2 TB of egg replacer in water
  • 195 – Super Size GF pizza to make 16 crusts – use 5 cups WARM water
  • 242 – Party on Potato Casserole – use 2 Lbs. shredded hashbrowns and use Easy Peasy nut cheese on page 144 instead of the cheese on 145
  • 296 – 100% Whole Wheat and Oat Bread – under direction 3, add 32 cups (OR MORE – depends on humidity in air) of flour.
