1. Nurses are uniquely qualified to blend Eastern & Western Medicine. 

2. They have negotiating, peace-making, and critical thinking skills needed to help allopathic and holistic healthcare re-integrate. 

3. They are acutely aware of both the strengths and weaknesses of modern medicine. They know exactly where modern medicine is failing patients, and where we need to do better.

4. They have a strong sense of intuition, which is needed when crafting a client-centered integrative approach to healing. 

5. They are the type of person to take initiative and solve a situation, instead of complain about it. They are action-takers!

The course content is self-paced, however we do have a "graduation window" in which you need to complete the program(s). That window is 6 months for the Holistic Health Educator Certification, 8 months for the Holistic Health Coach Certification, and 18 months for the Holistic Health Practitioner Certification. If completing the program within this timeframe is not possible, you can file an extension.

Every student is assigned an Academic Advisor at the time they enroll. This person will assist you with your personal goals, school work, and support you in staying on track so you can graduate on time! Our Academic Advisors are wonderful, so you'll be well taken care of!

We offer both accredited and unaccredited programs. 

For most students at HHE, our unaccredited programs are their favorite (and the reason why they study here), because we have NO RESTRICTIONS on what we're allowed to teach you. We don't hold back - you get all of the science, case studies, and information we believe should have been taught in medical schools since the 1910 Flexner Report first took it out. Students say it's like drinking from a firehose of natural health information. You will never get bored!

As for accredited programs, we offer a Holistic Health Coach Certification that is accredited by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). This is the most prestigious accreditation in the health and wellness field. Graduates of this training are eligible to sit for the board exam, which upon passing, comes with a host of benefits including an NPI number, increased FSA/HSA reimbursement, CPT codes (for insurance billing among insurers who reimburse for health coaching), and increased credibility in the workforce. 

We recommend dedicating 4-8 hours per week on your studies! 

Our courses require that you:

- Complete pre-recorded content (20-100 hours, depending on the program)

- Take quizzes

- Read 3-6 books and do a book review on each

- Attend x amount of live calls (between 6 - 40 live calls)

- Complete x amount of coaching sessions OR compile case studies (depends on the program)

- Pass a verbal practicum to ensure you know your stuff!

Graduation requirements are different program to program, so check with your academic advisor!

4) Stay in your current job and incorporate holistic principles there

5) Apply your knowledge within your personal health and family for the rest of your life!
